beatty suspended by Twitter

My Twitter account of 13 years was permanently suspended in October:

A friend gently asked what happened and said “You didn’t strike me as the kind of person prone to be suspended for content.” Indeed. Given reason? “multiple, repeat, and/or severe violations of Twitter’s Developer Agreement and Policy”.

Perhaps my little Twitter crawling experiment went awry? I did catch it a couple times spinning out of control (I suspect my Twitter client’s rate limiting wasn’t foolproof). Note to self: don’t use a personal account for hacking projects, lest you get deplatformed.
